In fact, the country’s main opposition party Congress has made party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi the candidate for the by-election on Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in Kerala, which became vacant after former Congress President Rahul Gandhi chose Rae Bareli seat.
Let us tell you that earlier on Saturday, Priyanka Gandhi had written a letter to the people of Wayanad. Bharatiya Janata Party has made Navya Haridas its candidate against Priyanka from Wayanad seat of Kerala. She has been the leader of the BJP parliamentary party and a two-time councilor in the Kozhikode Corporation and is also the state general secretary of the BJP Mahila Morcha.
Voting for the Wayanad by-election is to be held on November 13, while its results will be known on November 23.
