If you also face unbearable pain during periods, then definitely check once to see if any of these habits are causing your painful periods.

Period pain increases due to unhealthy diet
When there is deficiency of some nutrients like Omega 3, Magnesium, Vitamin D fatty acids etc. in the body, it also causes severe pain and stomach cramps during periods. Females who consume more unhealthy foods and eat more processed foods instead of fruits, vegetables and other healthy foods may have to go through painful periods every month.

Women who drink less amount of water may also complain of painful periods. In fact, when there is lack of water in the body, it causes bloating, which also causes unbearable pain during periods. To keep the body hydrated, one must drink sufficient amount of water daily. Especially during periods, you should keep your body properly hydrated. This is not only important to avoid pain but is also a good habit for the overall health of the body.

Sleep routine is also a reason
Due to not getting adequate and healthy sleep, the hormones melatonin and cortisol, which control the period cycle, start becoming unbalanced. Due to which there may be more pain during periods. Due to not getting enough sleep, other diseases also start affecting the body. Due to this, swelling, pain and also more mood swings are seen during periods.

excessive caffeine or alcohol consumption
Both alcohol and caffeine dehydrate the body. Although it is not right for anyone to consume it in excessive quantities, but especially women should not consume alcohol or caffeine in excessive quantities. Consumption of caffeine and alcohol should be avoided during periods, otherwise it can also become a major reason for painful periods.

Too much stress is also harmful
For women, taking too much stress can also affect their periods. Actually, due to excessive stress, hormones start getting imbalanced, which also affects the punctuality of periods. Due to imbalance of periods, the risk of pain, cramps and mood swings increases. To avoid all these problems, it is important to reduce the stress level. For this, help of yoga and meditation can be taken.

not paying attention to fitness
Rapid increase or loss in body weight can also cause hormonal imbalance. Women who do not pay attention to their fitness may also have to face all these problems. Due to not paying attention to fitness, weight can increase or decrease rapidly and this has a negative impact on the periods cycle. Due to which one may have to face painful periods.
