New Delhi. The Deepotsav program in Ayodhya was started by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself by lighting the first lamp. After this, the work of lighting more than 25 lakh lamps decorated on Ram Ki Paadi on the banks of Saryu was started. With the lighting of the lamps, Ram’s garden in Ayodhya, the city of Shri Ram, glowed in their light. Along with Yogi, Union Minister Gajendra Shekhawat also lit lamps. This year Deepotsav is very special because after 500 years Lord Shri Ram is present in the grand temple. Yogi went to the grand temple of Shri Ram Lala and performed his aarti and worshiped him duly.

Yogi Adityanath also went to Saryu banks and participated in the grand aarti. Before the Aarti, Yogi performed the puja rituals with full rituals. Along with the CM, Union Minister Gajendra Shekhawat and both Deputy CMs of UP, Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya also performed the aarti of Maa Saryu. During this period, laser and light show was also organized at Saryu Ghat. The ghats are shining with lamps and colorful lights. Ram Leela is also being narrated through laser and light show.

Swami Anurag, who reached Ayodhya, thanked Chief Minister Adityanath on behalf of Sant Samaj and Sanatanis. For the first time, he has given us all an opportunity to light the lamps of God in Ayodhya on Diwali. 25 lakh lamps are being lit, this number is important.
