New Delhi. The nomination process for the assembly elections in Maharashtra has been completed. Tuesday was the last day of nomination. With this, now all the parties and candidates have geared up for the election campaign. On one hand, while the present Mahayuti alliance is claiming to form the government again, the opposition’s Mahavikas Aghadi alliance is talking about forming its own government this time. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) President Raj Thackeray has made a big claim about the Chief Minister after the elections. Raj Thackeray has predicted that the Mahayuti alliance will win the elections and BJP will be the CM.
Raj Thackeray also made announcement for 2029 assembly elections in a program of ABP News. He said that after the elections in 2029, there will be a CM from MNS and you should write down my words. Raj Thackeray also reacted to the fielding of candidates by both Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde against his son Amit Thackeray from Mahim Assembly seat. Raj said that five years ago, when my nephew Aditya (son of Uddhav Thackeray) contested elections from Worli, I decided not to field candidates there even though my party has 38-39 thousand votes there. For this I did not even talk to anyone and did not make any deal.

On the other hand, BJP leader and Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis gave clarification on this statement of Raj Thackeray and presented BJP’s side. Fadnavis said that BJP still wants to extend its support to Amit Thackeray on Mahim assembly seat. CM Eknath Shinde also did not want to field a candidate on this seat but some leaders said that if he did so, Shiv Sena’s votes could go to the Uddhav faction, hence a candidate had to be fielded there. Along with this, Fadnavis also shared some of his old photos with Raj Thackeray on his social media account.
