Rajasthan: Horrific accident on Delhi-Jaipur highway, 3 killed in bus and trolley collision; 10 are in serious condition

Three people, including two women, died and 10 were injured in a collision between a bus and a trolley on Delhi-Jaipur National Highway-48 in Rajasthan’s Alwar district on Wednesday morning. The condition of the injured remains critical.

Three people, including two women, died and 10 were injured in a collision between a bus and a trolley on Delhi-Jaipur National Highway-48 in Rajasthan’s Alwar district on Wednesday morning. The condition of the injured remains critical.

According to the information, on Wednesday morning near Kotputli on Delhi-Jaipur National Highway-48, a sleeper bus driver, while going from Delhi to Jaipur, hit a troll moving ahead. Three people died on the spot in the accident, while 10 people were seriously injured. As the condition of the injured became critical, they were admitted to Kotputli District Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. About 46 passengers were present in the bus at the time of the accident.

There was screaming in the bus: The injured people in the bus told that we were sleeping in the bus at around 7.30 in the morning. Then there was a loud explosion and we saw that the bus collided with the trolley. After this, there was screaming among the women and children traveling in the bus. As soon as information about the accident was received, Kotputli police administration reached the spot and admitted the injured to Kotputli District Hospital.

Police are currently collecting information about the deceased and where they were from. Kotputli police station in-charge said that on Wednesday morning he received information through phone that the sleeper bus going from Delhi to Jaipur collided with the trolley moving ahead while overtaking near Kanwarpura village of the area, due to which a major accident occurred. Two women including the driver died on the spot. Also, the condition of ten people is critical and they are undergoing treatment. The police is also collecting information about the injured people.

Havoc of high speed: If we talk about the last one month, be it Delhi-Mumbai Expressway or Delhi-Jaipur Highway-48, where the havoc of high speed is seen daily. Many people have died in accidents that happen every day, but drivers are not learning any lesson from these accidents.
