Every year Govardhan Puja is performed on the second day of Diwali, however in 2024, due to Amavasya Tithi lasting for two days, Govardhan Puja will be performed on Saturday, 2nd November. Govardhan Mountain and Lord Krishna are worshiped on this day. People prepare many types of dishes to offer in puja, out of which the most important dish is Annakoot. Let us tell you that Govardhan Puja is also known as Annakoot. At present, ‘Annakoot’, which is offered as food, is no less than a boon for health, because it is made by mixing many vegetables, hence it is rich in nutrients. To make Annakoot, new vegetables coming in the market like cabbage, carrot are used. , Saggery, peas, beans, brinjal, radish, capsicum, gourd, raw banana etc. are used. Therefore, if we talk about nutrients, Annakoot is packed with nutrients. Know how many benefits there are of eating this vegetable.
