The festival of Chhath is celebrated on a large scale in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand, hence people in these states are returning to their homes in large numbers to celebrate the festival. Due to the train booking being full, the only option left for the passengers is to return by flight.

According to media reports, if a person is looking for a flight from Mumbai to Patna, then he may have to pay excessive money. You may have to pay fare from Mumbai to Patna and Darbhanga ranging from Rs 13000 to Rs 18000.
