Sharda Sinha was ill for the last one month and was admitted in AIIMS, Delhi. On Tuesday, his health suddenly deteriorated and he died late at night. Sharda Sinha’s demise dulled the shine of Chhath festival. There was sadness among the fans as soon as this news broke. Sharda Sinha is known for Chhath festival songs.

Has been honored with Padma Bhushan Award

Singer Sharda Sinha, who decorated more than a hundred Bhojpuri songs with her melodious voice, breathed her last on Tuesday, the first day of Chhath Puja. The Government of India has honored Sharda Sinha with the Padma Bhushan Award for her contribution to music. On the day of Chhath Puja, Sharda Sinha’s songs used to echo everywhere. The news of Sharda Sinha’s demise has saddened the fans. Sharda Sinha was admitted to the hospital on 25 October. Where he was undergoing treatment. Sharda Sinha breathed her last on Tuesday.
