For this, to awaken Lord Vishnu, first of all make a rangoli using ground rice solution and sandalwood in the courtyard of the house. After this, make a pavilion with four sugarcanes with leaves on them. Worship the Shaligram form of Lord Vishnu in the pavilion.
During worship, offer new clothes to Shaligram and offer sacred thread. After this, invoke Lord Vishnu with this mantra “Uttish Govind Tyaj Nidram Jagatpataye, Tvayi Supte Jagannath Jagat Suptam Bhavedidam” and wake him up.
