According to the Panchang, Chhath Puja has started from Chaturthi of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month i.e. 5th November and this fast will end on Ashtami i.e. 8th November. During this time, it is considered best to worship Chhathi Maiya and Suryadev. Time of Chhath Parana—
According to Udaya Tithi, the festival of Chhath Puja is being celebrated today i.e. Thursday, 7th November. To complete Chhath Puja, evening Arghya will be offered in this way today i.e. on 7th November. The same morning Arghya will be offered on 8th November. Sunrise on this day will be at 6:38 am. The fast can be broken after sunrise.
Method of breaking Chhath fast-
It is advisable to do the Parana of Chhath fast at the right time. Do it at sunrise and before doing the Parana, take bath and wear clean clothes. After this, clean the puja place, light the lamp and prepare Paran Prasad. Prasad generally includes thekua, fruits, milk, curd. Worship Lord Suryadev and Chhathi Maiya and offer Arghya to the rising Sun. After this, distribute the puja prasad among the people and consume it yourself and break your fast. At the time of Parana, complete purity should be taken care of and the fast should be broken with satvik food only.
