By-election is going to be held on Budhni assembly seat of Madhya Pradesh. Earlier, CM Mohan Yadav had already said this for the benefit of the beloved sisters of the state. Under the Laadli Brahmin Yojana, started during the time of Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Madhya Pradesh, 1.25 crore women are given financial assistance every month. CM Mohan Yadav has now said that in the coming time, women can be given Rs 5000 every month under the Ladli Brahmin Scheme. Currently, under Ladli Brahmin Yojana, women of Madhya Pradesh are given Rs 1250 every month by the government. When the scheme was started, a budget of Rs 1250 crore was kept for it.
Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav has said in a meeting that financial assistance will be increased through Ladli Brahmin Yojana. First, the financial assistance to women will be increased to Rs 3000 per month. After this, Madhya Pradesh government also plans to increase the financial assistance to Rs 5000 per month. Laadli Brahmin Yojana was started in the year 2023. Under this scheme, money is given to women and daughters of poor families of Madhya Pradesh. The rule under this scheme is that to avail financial benefits the family income should be less than Rs 2.50 lakh. Also, no one in the family pays income tax. Apart from this, having a farm of less than 5 acres is also eligible.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s government has linked lakhs of women of Madhya Pradesh with the Laadli Brahmin Yojana in such a way that it further increased their inclination towards BJP. As a result, when last assembly elections were held in Madhya Pradesh, BJP once again formed the government, giving a strong defeat to other parties including Congress. Now, if Mohan Yadav’s government increases the financial assistance under this scheme, then the ruling BJP can benefit from it. At the same time, women coming from poor homes will not have to help anyone for their daily expenses.
