New Delhi, November 12 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been able to talk with all political parties at the global level and he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts. Veteran investor Mark Mobius gave this statement on Tuesday.
Speaking to news agency IANS, 88-year-old veteran investor Mobius said that in this world full of turmoil, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can become a peacemaker, especially in West Asia and the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Mobius further said that PM Modi is not only a great leader but also a good human being. I think his role at the international level is going to increase rapidly. He has the ability to negotiate with all political parties. In the coming times, PM Modi can become an important peacemaker in the world.
While talking about the Nobel Peace Prize, he said that Prime Minister Modi deserves this global award.
Speaking to IANS, Mobius said that India has the ability to remain neutral with all countries. This capability of India makes it suitable to become a mediator for peace at the global level.
The veteran investor further said that PM Modi is very much qualified to become a major arbiter in the world today.
Despite being seen as neutral in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, PM Modi has consistently advocated for a peaceful solution, reaffirming India’s position as a supporter of peace. The Prime Minister’s visit to Ukraine in August (the first by an Indian Prime Minister to Ukraine since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992) underlined India’s active involvement in promoting peace in the war-torn region.
To a question about the similarities between him and PM Modi, Mobius told IANS that the common thing between them is to look forward, not backward. And also to be more optimistic about what is happening globally.
