New Delhi, November 12 (IANS). Everyone is familiar with cloves used in diseases and worship. But let us tell you that clove, a treasure trove of properties, is a panacea for stopping vomiting, stomach gas, problem of thirst and phlegm-pitta defect.
To get more information on the benefits of cloves, known for their medicinal properties, IANS spoke to Ayurvedic doctor Alisha Saini.
Alisha Saini said, “Clove is used as a spice in every household in India. We can use it to fix the digestion system.
Talking about its benefits, the Ayurvedic doctor said, “It helps in curing the problem of bloating and gas.” Along with increasing appetite, cloves also work better in diarrhea.
He further said, “Cloves are considered a boon during the winter season. It works better on cold and cough. The antioxidants and Vitamin C present in cloves are very beneficial in increasing the body’s immunity.
Alisha Saini said that along with curing digestion, it also often works to remove bad breath. It is also a panacea for obesity. It works to gradually melt the fat deposited in the body.
Enumerating the benefits of cloves, Alisha said, “If someone is suffering from headache, he can consume cloves, it will benefit you.” Along with this, it works in many types of diseases. It also works on the problem of toothache and worm infestation. Talking about clove oil, it is also very beneficial.
Ayurvedic doctor while advising to take it said that apart from tea, hot water and food, it can also be taken directly. Along with this he said that it also provides relief from pain in bones.
