Bhadohi. Difficulties seem to be increasing for Zahid Baig, MLA of Samajwadi Party from Bhadohi, UP. The local court of Bhadohi has ordered the attachment of the MLA’s house if Zahid Baig’s wife Seema Baig did not appear. The court has also ordered to register a case against Seema Baig. Zahid Baig’s wife is still absconding in the maid’s suicide case. Seema Baig was ordered by the court to appear, but the MLA’s wife did not appear. Recently, the dead body of a minor maid was found hanging at the residence of Samajwadi Party MLA Zahid Baig.
After the body of the maid was recovered, the police had registered a case against Samajwadi Party MLA Zahid Baig, his wife Seema Baig and son Zaim Baig. The police have accused everyone of child labour, bonded labor and instigating suicide. MLA’s son Jaim Baig was arrested in the maid’s death case. He has been kept in Varanasi jail. Whereas, MLA Zahid Baig surrendered in the court and from there he was sent to Naini jail. Despite her husband and son going to jail, the MLA’s wife did not appear in the court nor surrender before the police.
Now after the court order, the house of Samajwadi Party MLA Zahid Beg will be attached. Zahid Baig’s house is in the proprietary locality of Bhadohi. This house of the MLA is of three floors. The police and administration will attach Zahid Beg’s house only after receiving the copy of the court’s attachment order. When any house is confiscated, all the things kept in it are confiscated. Even the windows, doors and door frames of the house are uprooted. In this way, there are full chances of Samajwadi Party MLA Zahid Baig getting a big blow financially. Seema Baig is one of those high profile women who are absconding after being entangled in a court case. Earlier, mafia Atiq Ahmed’s wife Shaista Parveen, his brother Ashraf’s wife Zainab and don Mukhtar Ansari’s wife Afshan Ansari have also absconded. Their whereabouts are still unknown and the police has not been able to find them.
