5,979 violations have been registered
Officials have informed that around 5,979 violations have been registered during this period. Legal action is being taken against those who violate parking rules, ride bikes without helmets and ride in restricted areas. The rules are also being violated by the people delivering the products.
Bengaluru Traffic Police has appealed that people should not violate traffic rules under any circumstances. On the occasion of World Transport Day, an appeal has been made to IT employees that they should use public transport at least once a week.
