Mumbai Voting is to be held for 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra on November 20. Before this, a big statement has come from Shiv Sena UBT President and former CM Uddhav Thackeray. From this statement of Uddhav Thackeray, it is certain that he will not put pressure on Congress and NCP to become the CM if Mahavikas Aghadi government is formed. While talking to news channel Aaj Tak, Uddhav Thackeray has said that Mahavikas Aghadi has not decided any formula regarding the CM face, the one who gets more seats will become the CM. Uddhav Thackeray also said that there is no difference of opinion on CM face in Mahavikas Aghadi. He also said that no formula has been decided yet in this regard.
On the earlier tussle over seat distribution in Mahavikas Aghadi, Uddhav Thackeray said that this happens not only in his alliance but also in other alliances. Uddhav Thackeray said that every party wants more seats in every alliance. Alliances are made so that together we can come to power. Uddhav Thackeray said that there was some tussle on the issue of seat distribution, but the Mahavikas Aghadi alliance did not break. Uddhav Thackeray said that till 2019, his party kept contesting elections against Congress and NCP. If you are contesting elections together for the first time, then some friction is natural. He also raised the question whether the ruling grand alliance can tell who among the army of traitors they have will become the CM. Uddhav also targeted PM Narendra Modi and said that he does not need to worry about who will become the CM in our country.
On one side in Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray, Congress and Sharad Pawar’s NCP faction is in the form of Mahavikas Aghadi. On the other hand, there is a grand alliance of BJP, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s NCP. Mahavikas Aghadi had performed much better than Mahayuti in the Lok Sabha elections. Now the leaders of Mahayuti are saying that all the issues have been made clear to the public in the Maharashtra Assembly elections and Mahavikas Aghadi will have to face defeat. Counting of votes for Maharashtra Assembly elections will take place on November 23. By noon on that date, it will be clear whether Mahayuti once again takes over the power of Maharashtra or the public gives a chance to Mahavikas Aghadi to come to power in Maharashtra again.
