Prayagraj, Amrit Vichar: A grand procession of Lord Shaligram was taken out on Thursday in Shri Niketanam Shringverpur Ashram in the presence of Jagadguru Swami Narayanacharya Shandilya Ji Maharaj in Shringverpur Dham. During this, a large number of Ashram and regional people participated.
In the procession of Lord Saligram, Jagadguru Swami Narayanacharya Shandilya Ji Maharaj came out of the ashram carrying Lord Saligram with umbrella and singing bhajans. A large number of Acharyas and Batuks were walking in the procession reciting the Vedas. Cymbals, manjira and other musical instruments were also being played in the procession. People living nearby took blessings by showering flowers on Lord Saligram.
Before this, the ceremony of Lord Shaligram with Mother Tulsi was completed with great pomp. Jagadguru Swami Narayanacharya Shandilya Ji Maharaj told that auspicious work starts in Sanatan Dharma after the marriage of Lord Shaligram and Mother Tulsi. He said that after Lord Saligram wakes up from sleep, a new consciousness develops in nature and society and auspicious work starts in Sanatan Dharma with positive energy.
Vedpathi Brahmins of the ashram and Acharya Atul Mishra, Acharya Pawan Kumar Pandey, Muni, Maheshwaranand Tripathi and a large number of regional people including Kuldeep Narayan Tiwari, Ram Shiromani Pandey, Vivek Kumar Tripathi, Durgesh Kumar Tripathi, Mohit Kumar Tripathi, Pt Lalchand Fargaiya were present in the procession. A large number of regional people participated.
