Amiya Kumar Mallick (English: Amiya Kumar Mallick, born 14 November 1992, Cuttack district, Orissa) is an Indian sprinter. He had set the national record for this event with a timing of 45.21 at the Kladno Athletics Meet in Czech Republic in 2019.
Amiya Kumar Malik was born on 14 November 1992 in Olansh, Cuttack district of Orissa. His father works as a section officer in the education department of the state government in Bhubaneswar and mother is a housewife. At the 2017 Asian Athletics Championships in Bhubaneswar, Amiya Kumar Malik was disqualified from the 100 m semi-finals due to her slow start. He was part of the 4×100 meters relay team, which itself was disqualified in the heats due to a baton exchange violation. Amiya Kumar Malik qualified for the final of the 200 meters event, finishing with a personal best time of 21.03 seconds. In 2019, at the Kladno Athletics Meet in the Czech Republic, Malik created a national record for the event with a timing of 45.21. In the women’s category, Hima Das had set a record with a timing of 50.79 seconds in the Asian Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2018.
