The government has been giving free things through various schemes recently. Now Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra governments have made a big announcement for women. The government has announced to provide free LPG cylinders. The demand for LPG gas cylinder is increasing day by day. From villages to cities, people are using LPG cylinders on a large scale. In such a situation, now people are also waiting for the guarantee of free cylinder.
The government of Uttar Pradesh, the country’s largest state, has also announced free LPG cylinders for the people. But to fulfill this promise, people will have to wait for about two and a half months. The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh had announced in November last year that beneficiaries would get free LPG gas cylinders twice a year – during Holi and Diwali.
After Holi in March, now on Diwali, the beneficiaries of Ujjwala scheme of Uttar Pradesh state government will get free gas cylinders. Only residents of Uttar Pradesh can avail the benefits of this scheme. To avail the benefits of this scheme, beneficiaries will have to link their bank account with Aadhaar.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana in 2016. Under this scheme, more than 9 crore free gas connections have been provided in the country. Free gas cylinder guarantee has also been announced in Andhra Pradesh.
