It has been clearly stated by the officials that if the flight is delayed by more than 3 hours then it will have to be postponed immediately. It has been suggested to Delhi Airport operator DIAL that this information will have to be given on LED screens.
What will happen after the flight is cancelled?
Apart from this, if the flight is cancelled, the passenger will be entitled to receive full payment for the ticket. Apart from this, airlines can also arrange another flight for the passengers but no additional fee will be charged from the passenger for this. It was also said that if the second flight is also delayed, it is the responsibility of the airline to make arrangements for accommodation including food for the passengers and not to charge extra for the same.
