PM Modi’s busiest foreign trip, talks with 31 world leaders and heads of organizations in 5 days –

New Delhi: This time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 5-day visit to 3 countries has been the most important, busy and successful. PM Modi visited Nigeria, Brazil and Guyana in these 5 days. During his foreign trip, PM Modi met 31 world leaders and heads of organizations. During this whirlwind tour, he was also honored with his country’s highest award by Nigeria, Guyana and Dominica. Thus, the number of international awards of PM Modi has reached 20.

The implications of PM Modi’s strong diplomacy are also hidden in this visit. After Nigeria, he went straight to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to attend the G-20 meeting. After that, his last visit was to Guyana where he attended the second India-CARICOM summit. During his 5-day visit, PM Modi held a series of bilateral meetings with foreign leaders.



First bilateral meeting in Nigeria

PM Modi’s tour started from Nigeria. So he held his first bilateral meeting in Nigeria. After this, bilateral meetings were held with 10 countries on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Brazil. From here he set out on a trip to Guyana, where apart from participating in the India-CARICOM summit, PM Modi held bilateral meetings with the heads of 9 countries and international organizations.

Strengthened India’s relations with the leaders of these countries

PM Modi held a total of 10 bilateral meetings with the leaders of Brazil, Indonesia, Portugal, Italy, Norway, France, UK, Chile, Argentina and Australia in Rio de Janeiro on the sidelines of the G-20 summit. Of the 10 bilateral meetings in Brazil, PM Modi held bilateral talks for the first time with 5 leaders. These include Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto; Portugal’s Prime Minister Luis Montenegro, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Chile’s President Gabriel Boric and Argentina’s President Javier Meili.

Talks with America and Singapore also


In Brazil, Prime Minister Modi held informal talks and meetings with the leaders of Singapore, South Korea, Egypt, the US and Spain and heads and officials of various international organizations such as Ursula von der Leyen, European Union. This includes Antonio Guterres, United Nations; Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, WTO; Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, World Health Organization; Kristalina Georgieva and Geeta Gopinath, IMF.

Bilateral talks with these countries in Guyana

In Guyana, PM Modi held bilateral meetings with the leaders of Dominica, Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada and St. Lucia, apart from Guyana. This proves that PM Modi made full use of his foreign tour in the interest of the country. With these 31 countries and organizations he paved the way to take trade and cooperation to new heights to strengthen India’s bilateral relations. Thus, this was PM Modi’s busiest foreign tour.
