During winter days, reports of flight delays are common in India and in such situations, passengers have to face a lot of trouble. To provide convenience to the passengers, a decision has been taken by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in which it has been said that if an aircraft is delayed for more than two or four hours then it is important to take care of the passengers.
If the flight is delayed, passengers have to face many problems.
To save passengers from these problems, DGCA has issued a guideline for all airlines in which it has been told that due to poor visibility in North India, there is often a possibility of delay in the aircraft. Planes run late on many routes due to which passengers have to suffer the consequences.
DGCA has advised all the airlines that it will be necessary to make arrangements for food and drink for the passengers during this period. Passengers must provide beverages and snacks. Due to low visibility, passengers get disturbed and this decision has been taken for their safety.
