Mumbai 3 days have passed since the results of Maharashtra Assembly elections came. Even after this, it has not been decided till now who will be the CM of Mahayuti. On one side, Eknath Shinde’s name is doing the rounds. At the same time, BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis, who has secured the maximum number of seats, is also in the race for the post of CM of Maharashtra. There is also talk that Shiv Sena, which is part of the Grand Alliance, is insisting on making its chief Eknath Shinde the CM again. Whereas, BJP leaders are demanding to make Devendra Fadnavis the CM. Amidst all this, a big statement has come from Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena leader Deepak Kesarkar has given this statement regarding the post of CM.
Shiv Sena leader Deepak Kesarkar has said that after the resignation of Eknath Shinde from the post of CM, the Governor of Maharashtra has made him the acting CM till further arrangements. Kesarkar said that the leaders of Mahayuti will sit together and discuss about the post of CM and then go to Delhi. After this it will be decided who will be the CM of Maharashtra. Shiv Sena leader Deepak Kesarkar also said that CM Eknath Shinde has already clearly said that the decision taken by PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah will be acceptable to him. It has become clear that Eknath Shinde has now given up his decision on PM Modi and Amit Shah.

Earlier there was news that Shiv Sena is putting pressure on BJP to make Eknath Shinde the CM of Maharashtra again. Shiv Sena is arguing that by making Shinde the CM again, public votes will be in favor of Mahayuti in many local elections including BMC. Earlier, on November 23, on the victory of Mahayuti in Maharashtra election results, Eknath Shinde had said that the Ladki Bahin scheme implemented there was his brainchild. It is believed that the Ladki Bahin Yojana has played a big role in the victory of Mahayuti. However, in the grand alliance, BJP has won the maximum 132 seats. Whereas, Shinde’s Shiv Sena has won 57 seats.
