New Delhi. After Eknath Shinde withdrew his claim from the post of Chief Minister of Maharashtra, now the reaction of BJP leader and considered future CM Devendra Fadnavis has come to light. Fadnavis said that there was never any difference of opinion in Mahayuti. Even before the elections, we had said that we will sit together and take a decision on the CM’s face after the elections. Today, Eknath Shinde ji has removed all the doubts that were there among some people. We will soon sit with our party leaders and take an appropriate decision on this.

After the declaration of election results in Maharashtra, there was confusion regarding the CM face of Mahayuti. However, looking at the results, it was being speculated that this time the CM would be from BJP and once again the coronation of Devendra Fadnavis was considered certain. But on the other hand, there were also reports that Eknath Shinde was in no mood to compromise on the post of CM. Whereas BJP wants to give him the post of Deputy CM. On the other hand, NCP’s Ajit Pawar has already said about supporting the BJP CM. Amidst all this, today Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde put an end to all the doubts by holding a press conference. Shinde said that we accept the BJP CM. Whatever action PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah take will be acceptable.
Shinde said that we should not stand like a rock, because if you want to take the state forward, you will have to go to the central government. You have to give your proposal and that is why, in the last two and a half years, we have received lakhs of crores of rupees from the central government. Yesterday, I called PM Modi and Amit Shah and told them not to worry about me, take whatever decision you want to take and I will accept it.
