Had to leave studies due to financial constraints
Dev Anand’s father, who belonged to a highly educated family, used to be a lawyer and when he was getting his education from the government school of Lahore, due to poor financial condition of the house, he could not study as much as he wanted. And because of this he had to leave his studies midway.
Came to Mumbai with just this much money
This brilliant Bollywood actor was fond of acting since childhood and when he left studies, he came to Mumbai with the dream of working in films. However, when he wanted to try his luck in the film world, he had only Rs 30 in his pocket. Besides this, they had no place to spend the night and had to think even about two meals a day.
Job in Military Censor Office
To deal with these days, Dev Anand started working in the Military Censor Office and after this, when he got a chance to work in films, he left no stone unturned in writing a success story in Bollywood. Today he is not among us but because of his brilliant work, his memories are alive among us.
