Devendra Fadnavis was unanimously elected leader of the legislative party in the BJP legislature party meeting held in Mumbai on Wednesday in the presence of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. With this it was decided that once again Devendra Fadnavis is going to become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He will take oath as Chief Minister on December 5. Meanwhile, the discussion is in full swing regarding the assets and net worth of Devendra Fadnavis. In his election affidavit he has given detailed details of his assets, income and liabilities.
Total assets worth Rs 13.27 crore
Fadnavis stated in his affidavit that his total assets are Rs 13.27 crore. This wealth is the result of his political career and hard work. However, he also has liabilities of Rs 62 lakh, which are due to the loan taken by his wife Amrita Fadnavis. Devendra Fadnavis also mentioned his income. He told that his total income in 2023-24 was Rs 79.3 lakh, which was Rs 92.48 lakh in 2022-23. This income can be related to their salary, other professional activities and investments.
Wife’s investment attracted attention
While Fadnavis has not made any investments in the stock market or bonds, his wife Amrita Fadnavis has invested around Rs 5.63 crore in the stock market, mutual funds and bonds. Devendra Fadnavis and his wife also have considerable gold assets. Fadnavis has 450 grams of gold, while Amrita Fadnavis has 900 grams of gold. The total value of both is around Rs 98 lakh. Fadnavis owns a residential property worth Rs 3 crore. Apart from this, he owns another property worth Rs 47 lakh. There is also a house worth Rs 36 lakh in his wife’s name. Along with this, Fadnavis also has agricultural land worth Rs 1.27 crore. Interestingly, neither Fadnavis nor his wife own any four-wheeler.
