The Indian stock market closed with a big gain on Thursday. Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex today closed at 81,765 with a gain of 1 per cent or 809 points. At the time of market closing, out of 30 Sensex shares, 28 shares were on the green mark and 2 shares were on the red mark. Big fluctuations were seen in the market today. During the trading session, the Sensex reached a minimum of 80,467 points and a maximum of 82,317 points. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty closed at 24,708 today with a gain of 0.98 percent or 240 points. At the time of market closing, out of 50 shares of Nifty, 41 shares were on the green mark and 9 shares were on the red mark.

There was a rise in these shares

Among the 50 stocks of Nifty pack today, the highest rise was recorded in Trent by 3.31 percent, Infosys by 2.42 percent, TCS by 2.31 percent, Titan by 2.19 percent and Dr. Reddy’s by 2.18 percent. At the same time, the biggest decline was recorded in SBI Life by 1.21 percent, HDFC Life by 1.09 percent, Bajaj-Auto by 1.05 percent, NTPC by 0.90 percent and Grasim by 0.38 percent.

Highest jump in Nifty IT

Talking about sectoral indices, today the maximum rise of 1.95 percent was seen in Nifty IT. Apart from this, Nifty Bank 0.63 percent, Nifty Auto 0.65 percent, Nifty Financial Services 0.69 percent, Nifty FMCG 0.58 percent, Nifty Metal 0.57 percent, Nifty Pharma 0.18 percent, Nifty Private Bank 0.69 percent, Nifty Healthcare Index 0.48 percent in, Nifty Consumer A rise of 0.52 percent was seen in Durables, 0.74 percent in Nifty Oil & Gas, 0.46 percent in Nifty Midsmall Healthcare. Apart from this, a decline of 0.25 percent was seen in Nifty Realty and 0.12 percent in Nifty PSU Bank.
