The decision has been taken in view of the current situation in Syria
The government has informed that this decision has been taken regarding the ongoing dispute between the serial government and the militants. It is not right to travel to Syria in such circumstances. This information has been given in the press release by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in which it has been told that in any case, travelers should postpone their trip to Syria till further orders.
Emergency number was also issued
Apart from this, an emergency number has also been issued by MEA in which it has been said that in case of any kind of problem, contact the emergency helpline of the embassy located in Damascus on +963 993385973.
