The International Space Station (ISS) is scheduled to end its operations in 2031. After being retired at the end of 2030, it will be dropped into the Pacific Ocean in January 2031. NASA has given the task to Elon Musk’s space company Space-X to safely remove the ISS space station from the orbital environment after its retirement.

After the end of the life of the existing Space Station (ISS), NASA has now given the charge of setting up a new space station in space to Billionaire Jeff Bezos’s company Blue Origin.

According to a report in this regard, Blue Origin Company is preparing to spend a huge amount of about Rs 8,500 billion (according to the Indian equivalent of 100 billion dollars) to deploy a new space station in space. Whereas NASA has handed over 13 crore dollars i.e. approximately Rs 1,101 crore in Indian money to put it in orbit. The entire project will cost more than Rs 8,400 billion. Bezos’ space station will be the first commercially owned station in low Earth orbit (LEO). This station will be 8,200 cubic feet.

Station will be very special for space tourists
Blue Origin, Sierra Space, Amazon and Boeing are together building a new space station. This station will be for commercial activities and future space tourists. Sierra Space will provide large modules and landing spaceplanes, Amazon will take care of logistics and supplies and Boeing’s Starliner crew spacecraft will help transport astronauts. This station will be different from the already built space stations and will also increase the possibility of space tourism.

The new space station will have many types of facilities. The new space station will initially have accommodation for 10 people, in which more space will be increased later. This space station is being built especially for space tourism. It will have big windows. With the help of which a spectacular view of the Earth and the universe will be seen. The station will be designed in many special ways to make it convenient, comfortable and safe.

Tourists will also be given separate quarters for personal and commercial use. It will also have a science module, where scientific experiments will conduct microgravity research. It is estimated that it will be launched in 2027 and is expected to be fully operational by 2030.
