Mumbai, 7 December (IANS). Many public welfare schemes are being run by the Narendra Modi government at the Centre. PM Modi’s ambitious scheme ‘Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana’ is one of these. Generic Jan Aushadhi Center has been opened in Nalasopara, Maharashtra. Due to which people are benefiting.
With the opening of Generic Jan Aushadhi Kendra, people in the surrounding areas are getting a lot of help. They are getting medicines from this center at cheaper rates. Jyoti Pandey, the pharmacist of this Jan Aushadhi Center and the customers taking medicines from here, while talking to IANS, praised the government.
Pharmacist Jyoti Pandey of Jan Aushadhi Center in Nalasopara, Maharashtra said, “Our medicine center is open in the Central Park of Nalasopara East. All the medicines are available at this center at affordable rates. The medicines which are available in medical stores outside, You will get 30 to 40 percent discount on the medicines available in this center. In such a situation, it is necessary to come here for the benefit.
Speaking to IANS, Pratham Singh, a customer who took medicines from the centre, said, “Ever since this Generic Jan Aushadhi Center opened, medicines are being available to all of us at cheaper rates. Earlier, the medicines which we used to buy outside We used to buy them at expensive prices from medical stores, today we are able to buy them at cheaper prices from this center and the quality of these medicines is also good.”
He thanked the government for this scheme and said, “This is helping the poor a lot. With the money that is saved in buying medicines from here, we can buy something else.”
Praising this scheme, another customer said that ever since the Generic Public Service Center has opened, we are getting a lot of benefits. Medicines which are available for Rs 400-500 outside are available here at almost half the price. In such a situation, we use the money that is saved for the betterment of our family. The poor are getting a lot of facilities from this.
