Accident happened on the sets of Mangal Lakshmi
He said in his post, ‘On December 6, 2024, on the shooting set of Mangal Lakshmi in Goregaon Filmcity, a member working as an electrician received a strong electric shock, due to which he fell from a height. His condition is very serious and he is currently admitted in ICU. The sad thing is that his family is being threatened not to speak about the incident, and is also being warned that they will not get any help for his treatment.
Demand for legal action against the makers of Mangal Lakshmi
AICWA has claimed that attempts were made to suppress the incident and the employee’s family was pressurized to remain silent. AICWA further wrote on X, ‘Those responsible for this pressure should be held accountable and FIR should be registered against them. This is a deliberate cover-up. Apologize for the accident that happened due to negligence. This appalling behavior exposes the truth of their negligence towards the employees at Filmcity. Despite frequent accidents and injuries to workers, there is no guarantee of their safety… No action has been taken yet against those responsible for this incident. It is high time that the government ends this cycle of injustice. That employee could have even died.
