Reports say that adopting some good habits in the morning not only makes the day better but also improves health. Every day after waking up in the morning, everyone has a fixed routine as to what to do first. But sometimes we do some things as habits which can have a bad effect on our day and health. Here we are telling you some things which you should avoid doing in the morning.

1) drinking coffee
Drinking a cup of coffee on an empty stomach increases your tolerance to caffeine, which can increase stress hormones like cortisol. In such a situation, when you drink coffee first thing in the morning, you may feel lethargic, stressed and depressed throughout the day.

2) not brushing
It is important to brush your teeth after waking up in the morning. Cleaning your teeth and tongue removes plaque and small food particles, eliminating the chance for bacteria to grow. If you don’t brush, gum diseases and cavities can occur. Due to which bad smell starts coming in the mouth.

3) Use of electronic devices
New technologies have made life much easier. But its excessive use can be harmful for health. Noisy news and shows can affect your cortisol levels. Which does not make for a healthy start to the day. It is very important to spend quiet time in the morning.

4) Checking social media
These days, most people check their phones as soon as they wake up in the morning. This habit can prove bad for mental health. Doing this in the morning can cause problems in concentrating.

5) skipping breakfast
It is very important to have breakfast. Reports show that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It includes all the major nutrients like carbs, vitamins and proteins. A hearty breakfast can give you a lot of energy. This will keep you full for a long time and improve your mood for the whole day.
