Delhi Politics: After achieving a big victory in Maharashtra, now BJP is ready to bat hard on the pitch of Delhi Assembly elections. In Delhi, BJP has to fight a political battle against Aam Aadmi Party and Congress. AAP has announced its candidates for 31 assembly seats. Meanwhile, the move of AIMIM chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi has given a big opportunity to BJP to play in Delhi also.
Actually, Owaisi has announced Delhi riots accused Tahir Hussain to contest elections from Mustafabad assembly seat. BJP has called this step of Owaisi a big challenge for Hindus. After this step of Owaisi, it is believed that BJP can raise Maharashtra slogans in Delhi also. Political experts believe that slogans like ‘If we are united, we are safe’ and ‘If we divide, we will be cut’ may also enter the Delhi Assembly elections, it is expected to have a big impact.
Owaisi gave ticket to Delhi riots accused
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi today made a big announcement regarding Delhi assembly elections. He announced former AAP councilor and Delhi riots main accused Tahir Hussain to contest elections from Mustafabad. Owaisi himself gave this information by tweeting from his X handle.
Owaisi wrote that former councilor Tahir Hussain has joined AIMIM and he will be our candidate from Mustafabad in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. Tahir Hussain is currently in jail in the Delhi riots case. Owaisi made this announcement after meeting the family and supporters of Tahir Hussain.
BJP will benefit from division of Muslim votes
Tahir Hussain was accused of conspiracy in the 2020 riots in Delhi and after that he was arrested by Delhi Police. Later Aam Aadmi Party expelled Tahir Hussain from the party. AAP has made Adil Ahmed Khan the candidate from Mustafabad. In such a situation, BJP can benefit from the division of Muslim votes. Congress is also likely to field a Muslim candidate on this seat.
A similar equation was created in 2015 also which benefited BJP. Mustafabad is a Muslim dominated assembly constituency but in 2015, BJP’s Jagdish Pradhan won due to division in Muslim votes. In this way, Owaisi’s move has laid the foundation for division of Muslim votes, which has increased AAP’s tension.
BJP said it is a big challenge for Hindus
After Owaisi’s announcement of fielding Tahir Hussain in the election arena, Delhi State BJP Vice President Kapil Mishra has expressed a sharp reaction. He even called this step of Owaisi a challenge for the Hindus of Delhi. While sharing a video on X, Mishra wrote that Owaisi is involved with the murderer of IB officer Ankit Sharma. Owaisi has shown the colors of real secularism.
He also reminded of the riots that broke out in Delhi after the protests against CAA. He said that if such an attempt is made again, seven generations will remember those who did it.
Kapil Mishra said that Tahir Hussain conspired to kill hundreds of Hindus in Delhi. Stones and weapons were found from Hussain’s house. After being stabbed with knives about 400 times, Ankit Sharma’s body was thrown into the drain.
An attempt is being made to challenge Hindus by fielding such killer Jihadi Tahir Hussain in the electoral arena of Delhi. Through this statement, Mishra has tried to target Hindus.
Owaisi gave a big weapon to BJP
After this announcement made by Owaisi, BJP has got a big opportunity to force the opposition parties to play on their own pitch. AAP has been getting huge support from Muslim voters in Delhi Assembly elections but AAP has been very cautious on this sensitive issue.
For this reason, the party had shown the way out to Tahir Hussain after his name cropped up in Delhi riots. Political experts believe that after AAP became alert, Owaisi has now given a big weapon to BJP.
Now slogans of Modi and Yogi can show effect
In the Maharashtra assembly elections, the slogans of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘If we are together we are safe’ and the slogan given by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ‘If we divide, we will cut’ had shown a big impact. Now after fielding Tahir Hussain, the entry of these slogans in the Delhi Assembly elections is being considered certain.
BJP believes that these slogans have shown a big impact in the Maharashtra assembly elections. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also believes that because of these slogans people came together and voted in favor of Mahayuti. Now the entry of these slogans in the Delhi Assembly elections can prove to increase the problems of AAP and Congress.
