Six people, including a minor, died in a fire in a private hospital in Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu on Thursday. Police and fire department officials gave this information. Officials said that all the people were found unconscious in the lift.

Dindigul District Collector MN Poongodi said, ‘The fire in the hospital was very severe. 6 patients lost their lives due to suffocation. The remaining patients have been saved. He has been admitted to nearby government and private hospitals.
