New Delhi. Telangana High Court has granted bail to Allu Arjun, providing a big relief. Earlier, the Nampally court had ordered Telugu film superstar Allu Arjun to be sent to jail for 14 days judicial custody. Challenging the lower court order, Allu Arjun’s lawyer approached the Telangana High Court where his bail plea was approved. Allu Arjun’s lawyer presented the example of an old case related to Shahrukh Khan before the High Court. The husband of the deceased woman said that he is ready to withdraw the case. The police did not inform him about the arrest of Allu Arjun. Allu Arjun has nothing to do with this stampede.
Allu Arjun’s lawyer Niranjan Reddy said that there was a stampede during the promotion of Shahrukh Khan’s film Raees. In which Shahrukh was accused of culpable homicide. Then Gujarat High Court and Supreme Court had given relief to Shahrukh in this matter. A woman named Revathi was killed in a stampede at Sandhya theater during the premiere show of Allu Arjun’s film ‘Pushpa 2’. While his 8 year old son was injured. Police alleges that a stampede broke out due to Allu Arjun’s arrival there, in this case the police arrested Allu Arjun today. Meanwhile, the deceased woman’s husband Bhaskar told that the police had not informed him about the arrest of Allu Arjun. The stampede in which his wife died is not the actor’s fault.
He said that my son wanted to watch the film. I went to my family’s evening theatre. Allu Arjun came there but it was not his fault, so I am ready to withdraw the case. Police had registered a case against Allu Arjun and his security personnel and the management of Sandhya Theater under sections 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 118(1) (voluntarily causing hurt) r/w 3(5) BNS. This case was registered at Chikkadpally police station on December 5 on the complaint of the husband of the deceased woman. On December 8, the police arrested Sandhya Theater owner, GM and security manager.
