The taste of gram flour gatta curry is so wonderful that it melts as soon as it goes in the mouth. Along with adults, children also like the taste of gram flour gatta curry. Let us tell you, this vegetable is very popular in Rajasthan. That’s why people like Besan Gatte curry made in Rajasthani style. Making this vegetable is not very difficult. If you want to make gram flour gatte curry at home, then you can prepare it very easily with the help of the method given by us. Let us know the recipe of making gram flour gatta vegetable.

Ingredients to make Besan Gatte Ki Sabji:

Gram flour (chickpea flour) – 1 cup, turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon, red chili powder – 1/2 teaspoon, celery – 1/4 teaspoon, salt – as per taste, oil – 1 teaspoon, water – for kneading the dough.

Ingredients for Besan Gatte Gravy:

Curd – 1 cup, gram flour – 1 teaspoon, turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon, red chili powder – 1/2 teaspoon, coriander powder – 1 teaspoon, cumin – 1/2 teaspoon, asafoetida – a pinch, ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp, Oil – 2 tsp, Garam masala – 1/4 tsp, Coriander – for garnishing, Salt – as per taste

Method of making gram flour gatte vegetable:

Step 1: Mix gram flour, turmeric, red chilli powder, celery, oil and salt in a vessel. Knead a stiff dough by adding water little by little. Divide the dough into 4-5 parts and make cylindrical rolls. Boil water in a vessel and add gram flour rolls in it. Boil for 10-12 minutes. When the rolls cool down, cut them into small pieces.

Step 2: Now, add curd, gram flour, turmeric, red chili powder, and coriander powder in a large bowl and mix well. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin, asafoetida, and ginger-garlic paste and fry. Add curd mixture to the tempering. Cook the gravy for 5-7 minutes while stirring continuously.

Step 3: Add chopped gattas to the gravy and let it cook on low flame for 5-10 minutes. Finally add garam masala and mix. Garnish Gatte Ki Sabzi with fresh coriander and serve with hot roti or rice.
