On Sunday (December 15) amid the winter session of Parliament, political leaders were seen on the cricket field. The match of Rajya Sabha XI vs Lok Sabha XI was kept to spread awareness about TV. In this match, all the MPs came to the field wearing a special kind of jersey, in which it was written that TB will lose and India will win. In this match, Anurag Thakur played a brilliant century for Lok Sabha XI. Thanks to his century, Lok Sabha XI team was successful in scoring more than 200.
Kamlesh Paswan took maximum three wickets for Rajya Sabha XI. The objective of this match being played at Major Dhyanchand Cricket Stadium in Delhi was to spread awareness about TB and motivate people towards fitness.

Regarding this match, former Indian cricket team captain and Congress leader Mohammad Azharuddin said, “It is a matter of pleasure that you meet everyone like this and MPs get this kind of opportunity. The country should really be TB free. This should be finished as soon as possible. I am happy that I am participating in it today.” BJP MP Ravi Kishan said, “This will be a historic match. The youth have to be awakened, they have to be freed from drugs and TB. We will be able to fulfill PM Modi’s dreams only when we create awareness about TB among our children. “
TB has to be eliminated by 2025
