Mohit Grewal (English: Mohit Grewal, born 20 December 1999) is an Indian wrestler. He has won a bronze medal for the country in the Commonwealth Games, 2022 held in Birmingham, England. In men’s 125 kg weight category, Mohit Grewal won the bronze medal by defeating Jamaica’s Johnson.
Mohit Grewal was born on December 20, 1999 in Bamla village of Bhiwani, Haryana. There are many wrestlers in his family. His father Jagdish has also done wrestling. For this reason, since childhood, Mohit saw wrestling, akharas and riots around him. However, initially Mohit Grewal wanted to become a swimmer. He has also learned swimming and judo. He has also won medals at the national level in swimming, but gradually his interest turned towards wrestling and he started wrestling at the age of 13.

Mohit Grewal started well and took a point. After this he placed a bet of two points and made the score 3-0. Mohit then eliminated him and took one more point and then Mohit defeated Johnson and won the bronze medal. Mohit Grewal won the 125 kg by defeating Alexios Kaoslidis of Cyprus. Reached the semi-finals of freestyle, but lost 2-12 to Amarveer Dhesi of Canada; With which he played repechage. He performed exactly as was expected of him in the bronze medal match. With his strong play he won the bronze medal.
In the year 2015, Mohit Grewal won the gold medal in the Cadet National Games held in India. In 2016, 17 year old Mohit also won gold in the School National Games held in Delhi. In the same year, Mohit succeeded in winning the gold medal in the School World Wrestling Championship in Türkiye. At that time Mohit Grewal weighed 120 kg. Participated in the weight category and now won a bronze medal in the Commonwealth Games, 2022.[1]
