In this accident, 3 people including 2 children died on the spot. The condition of 6 people crushed by the dumper is said to be critical. According to the police, the dumper driver was drunk. According to the police, the injured have been admitted to Sassoon Hospital. The injured are laborers who were hit by the dumper. All of them are from Amravati district of Maharashtra. According to police, the workers decided to stay on the footpath to spend the night. 9 people slept together. Whereas, 3 other people decided to spend the night in a hut built on the side of the footpath. Due to this they were saved from getting hit by the dumper. According to the information, the driver could not control the speeding dumper and the heavy vehicle went straight onto the footpath. Due to the high speed of the dumper, the sleeping people did not get a chance to escape and they came under its wheels. The dumper went ahead crushing everyone.
