The government is running Ayushman Bharat scheme for these people. Under which beneficiaries get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. Ayushman card is issued under the scheme. It provides free treatment in registered government and private hospitals.
The government has decided the eligibility for this scheme. Only the people who complete those forms get this free treatment from the government. But for some time now it has been seen that many people are taking advantage of the scheme by making fake Ayushman cards.
Due to this, news has recently come from Ahmedabad that people in a hospital there are not eligible to take benefits under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. By taking money from him, his Ayushman card is being made fraudulently.
If anyone gets Ayushman card made by paying such money fraudulently, please let me know. And avails the facility of free treatment. So in such a situation the government can recover the same amount. Apart from this, separate fine can also be imposed.
