New Delhi. Bareilly court has issued a notice and summoned AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi. Owaisi will have to appear in court on January 7. Owaisi had raised the slogan of Jai Palestine during the oath taking ceremony in Parliament House, this notice has been issued in the same case. A petition in this regard has been filed in the court on behalf of Virendra Gupta, an advocate from Bareilly. Earlier, Virendra Gupta had also filed a petition in the MP-MLA court of Bareilly but it was rejected. After this he filed a petition in the court of the District Judge.
The petitioner says that by raising the slogan of Jai Palestine in Parliament, Owaisi has violated constitutional and legal principles. This is like insulting the Constitution of India. Virendra Gupta said that cheering for another country in a place like Parliament is anti-national. The advocate said that his sentiments were hurt by the slogan of Jai Palestine and that is why he has filed a case against Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi.
After the Lok Sabha elections, when Asududdin Owaisi was taking oath in the Parliament as Hyderabad MP on June 25, the first thing he did was recite Bismillah. After this he took oath as MP in Urdu. After taking the oath, at the end he raised slogans of Jai Bhim, Jai Mim, Jai Telangana, Jai Palestine and Allah Hu Akbar. As soon as Owaisi raised the slogan of Jai Palestine, BJP and NDA MPs sitting in the Parliament protested against it. After the swearing in, when journalists questioned Owaisi, he said what is wrong in this, he said what he said. There was a lot of hue and cry over Owaisi’s Jai Palestine slogan.
