New Delhi, December 25 (IANS). Leaders including President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended Christmas wishes on Wednesday.

President Draupadi Murmu wrote on social media platform X, Merry Christmas to all. This special day reminds us of Jesus Christ’s eternal teachings of love, mercy and compassion. On this happy occasion, let us try to spread happiness, promote equality and promote the feeling of unity in the society.

“Merry Christmas to all. May this joyous occasion illuminate homes across our country with warmth, love and goodwill. The message of peace and goodwill that Christmas brings,” Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar wrote on Instagram.

PM Modi wrote on social media platform X, “Merry Christmas to all of you. May the teachings of Lord Jesus Christ show everyone the path to peace and prosperity.

Prime Minister Modi also shared a video of his recent visit to a Christmas event organized by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI). In which he has highlighted the enduring importance of the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Meanwhile, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on his ex-post, “Warm wishes and congratulations to everyone on the occasion of Christmas. May the spirit of harmony and compassion be strong in our society. Prayers for everyone’s well-being and good health.”

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla wrote on his ex-post, “Merry Christmas to all. May this festival of love, brotherhood and harmony inspire us all to contribute to nation building. May there be light of happiness, prosperity and progress in every home. merry christmas!”

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has also extended Christmas wishes.
