Maruti Suzuki is ready to bring its first EV (Maruti Suzuki First EV Car) in India. This car will be all-electric E Vitara. Recently, Maruti also released the first teaser of its electric SUV, and said that it will showcase the production-ready version of the E Vitara at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025.
Maruti e Vitara with features like dual screen, wireless phone charger, fixed panoramic glass roof, 6 airbags, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), 360-degree camera and advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) (Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Specification) Can present. In the overseas market, Suzuki E Vitara comes with both 49 kWh and 61 kWh battery packs. It will offer a driving range of approximately 550 km. Hyundai (Hyundai Creta EV 2025)

Korean giant Hyundai will introduce the electric version of ‘Creta’ (Hyundai Creta Electric Car) in January 2025. Some visual changes are likely to be made to the Creta EV to give it its own identity. Creta EV will have features like dual 10.25-inch screen, dual-zone AC, ventilated front seat and wireless phone charger. It will also likely have an 8-speaker Bose sound system, 360-degree camera and panoramic sunroof. Its safety net will probably include 6 airbags and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (Hyundai Creta EV Features). The Creta EV is expected to have a range of around 400 km. Another offering from Hyundai is going to be ‘Venue EV’. With an expected launch in April 2025, it will become the most affordable EV in Hyundai’s Indian lineup. Although information about the Hyundai Venue EV is limited, the industry expects it to be very similar to the petrol diesel vehicle in terms of design. Multiple battery options can be given in it, whose estimated range will be 300-350 kilometers. The price of Venue EV can be around Rs 12 lakh.
Tata (Tata EV Car Launch In 2025)

Tata Motors, the top company of EV cars, is now ready to increase its EV portfolio. Tata has two new electric SUVs being launched: Harrier EV in January 2025 and Safari EV in February 2025. In terms of features, both the Harrier EV and Safari EV come with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital driver display, dual-zone AC, ventilated front seats, 6-way powered driver seat, 4-way powered co-driver seat , Panoramic sunroof (with mood lighting) and gesture control powered tailgate.
The new Tata EV is also expected to have an optional all-wheel-drive dual motor setup. Safety will include 7 airbags, 360-degree camera and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System. Although Tata has not revealed anything about the electric motor and battery pack specifications for these electric SUVs, it is expected to give a range of more than 500 kilometers.
The price of Harrier EV is likely to be Rs 30 lakh (Tata Harrier EV Price) and the price of Safari EV is likely to be Rs 32 lakh (Tata Safari EV Price).
Kia (Kia Carens EV)

In the crowd of electric SUVs, ‘Kia’ is also planning to introduce an all-electric MPV. This vehicle will be ‘Carens EV’ which is expected to be launched in April 2025 (Kia Carens EV Launch Date). The Kia Carens EV was first mentioned in 2022. Kia did not provide any technical details about the upcoming Carens EV for India. Still seems to have a battery range of around 400-500 km with the single motor setup.

Mahindra (Mahindra EV Launch)

Mahindra XUV400 EV is expected to be introduced in 2025 (Mahindra There will be extensive design changes including split LED headlights, new alloy wheels and connected LED tail lights. However, the battery pack may not be modified. The 34.5 kWh battery provides an estimated range of 375 km, while the larger 39.4 kWh battery provides 456 km.
Mahindra recently filed a trademark for the all-electric XUV700, which suggests that it may be called the XEV 7e. This will basically be the SUV version of the XEV9, which was launched recently. Its cabin looks similar to the recently launched Mahindra 9E. It will have the same dual-tone black and white cabin theme along with piano black inserts on the center console. It is expected to have a triple screen setup for driver display, infotainment and passenger display. As far as the battery pack and electric motor are concerned, it can have a driving range of around 650 km. Its price is likely to be around Rs 21 lakh.
Toyota (Toyota Urban Cruiser EV)

Toyota recently unveiled the ‘Urban Cruiser EV’ globally. Toyota Urban Cruiser EV can be provided with features like dual integrated screen, wireless phone charger and 360-degree camera like the E Vitara. Its global model comes with both 49 kWh and 61 kWh battery packs and is expected to offer a range of around 550 km. This car can be launched in May 2025 for Rs 23 lakh.
