The annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF)-2025 is going to be held in Davos from 20 to 24 January. Many stalwarts of the business world from all over the world will gather in this meeting. Many Union Ministers of the Government of India will also participate in this important conference. Let us tell you that Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnav, CR Patil, Chirag Paswan, K Ram Mohan Naidu and Jayant Chaudhary will go to Davos, Switzerland next month to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2025. Three chief ministers – Devendra Fadnavis, Chandrababu Naidu and Revanth Reddy – will also attend the WEF meeting. The meeting will be attended by hundreds of senior government officials and business leaders from around the world.

More than 50 presidents and prime ministers from around the world will gather

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Naidu will also be joined by his son and senior minister of his state Nara Lokesh. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, Tamil Nadu minister TRB Raja and Uttar Pradesh minister Suresh Khanna will also be present at the five-day annual gathering of the world’s rich and powerful, starting January 20, 2025. Apart from more than 50 Presidents and Prime Ministers from around the world, top officials from international organizations such as the UN, IMF, World Bank, INTERPOL, NATO, European Central Bank and WTO will also attend the WEF Annual Meeting 2025. Senior ministers of Pakistan and Bangladesh, including Muhammad Yunus, chief advisor to the Bangladesh government and head of the interim government, will also be present. Vaishnav, minister of Railways, Information and Broadcasting and Electronics and IT, had attended the last meeting along with Smriti Irani and Hardeep Singh Puri. This time Vaishnav will be joined by Jal Shakti Minister Patil, Food Processing Industries Minister Paswan, Civil Aviation Minister Naidu and Minister of State for Skill Development and Education Chaudhary.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also joined

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also attended this meeting earlier, but this time no official statement has come yet regarding his participation. The annual meeting will take place against the backdrop of various geopolitical and macroeconomic issues including regime change in the US, the Ukraine war and the Middle East crisis. This time the summit will be attended by top officials of Reliance, Tata, Adani, Birla, Bharti, Mahindra, Godrej, Jindal, Bajaj and Vedanta groups. Apart from Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, next generation leaders of their groups are also likely to be present in the meeting. Infosys’ Salil Parekh, Wipro’s Rishad Premji, Renew’s Sumant Sinha, Paytm’s Vijay Shekhar Sharma and Serum Institute’s Adar Poonawala are also expected to attend the Davos meeting.
