Lucknow News: On Sunday, Social Democratic Party MP from Frankfurt, Germany Rahul Kumar Kamboj met Akhilesh Yadav at the state headquarters of Samajwadi Party. Indian-origin German MP Kamboj also expressed his views on the relations between India and Germany and development issues between the two countries. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav honored Rahul Kamboj by gifting him a shawl. He also shared his views regarding his official visit to Germany in 2015. Akhilesh said that he had seen the Ottoman road in Germany during his trip and had also resolved to build a similar road in Uttar Pradesh. After that, when the state returned, the Lucknow-Agra Expressway was constructed here, which is still one of the best roads in the country. Many senior leaders including Shivpal Yadav, SP state president Shyam Lal Pal, former minister Rajendra Chaudhary were present in the press conference. Miraj and Sukhoi were put on the road – Akhilesh
In his statement, Akhilesh said that Ottoman Road is the best and historical road of Germany. After seeing the same, Agra-Lucknow Expressway was built which is still the best road in the country. He said that during the inauguration of this road, the country’s best Sukhoi and Mirage aircraft were launched on that road. During my trip I visited a zoo in Hanover. When he returned, he sent zoo officials from Lucknow there. After seeing it, he also improved the Lucknow Zoo. To the extent that the socialists improved the zoo, it has improved to that extent even today. He further said that I had planned to get the Mughal Museum built by Berlin architect David Chipperfield. It was being built in Agra and its civil work was also completed but the government left and it is lying like this. Akhilesh said that even today in Germany people vote through ballot. Efforts should be made to bring it somewhere in India also. So that public confidence is maintained. We should also go to Germany and see it.
Frankfurt MP said, visa path will be easy for Indians
Addressing the people, Frankfurt MP Rahul Kumar Kamboj said that Akhilesh visited Germany in 2015, during which he raised many issues which became the future of tomorrow. The IT projects that Akhilesh had proposed in 2015 are being implemented even today. There are many IT professionals Indians in Germany. He said that I came here with a sense of friendship, Akhilesh showed respect. We have a great opportunity in which we are giving opportunity to the youth which will help a lot in future. He further said that more and more people from here should come to Germany and see the things there. He also said that there will be no visa problem in Germany for the people of Lucknow.
Despite being born in Germany, I connected with the country – Kamboj
Rahul said that I was born and brought up in Germany, yet my parents kept me connected to the country, hence I am still connected to the country. What is needed today is that we understand our duty and bring it forward. Our friendship should be linked to a project for the people here. Now I will open the doors of Germany and Europe for the people of the country. Our friendship and love for the country must not be diminished or diverted. He also said that people of Indian origin have representatives in many countries of the world but they are not visible much in the affairs of India. I took a pledge in the Word Hindu Congress in Chicago that I will actively participate in the work of the country.
Even today we vote through ballot paper
Speaking on the issue of voting, he said that even today we vote on ballot paper, Germany is still doing the same thing to create trust among the people. Today I have come to Lucknow to build a bridge of friendship. Emphasizing on work efficiency, he said that we have to work with quality and not quantity. If we want to work outside the country, then first we have to work ourselves. Like before getting a good friend you have to prove yourself to be a good friend.
