Tribute meeting in Gujarat for former CM Manmohan Singh.
Ahmedabad: Gujarat unit of Congress will organize a tribute meeting today in honor of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. According to a press release issued by the Congress on Saturday, “State Congress President Shakti Singh Gohil, opposition leader Amit Chavda along with party MPs, MLAs and All India Congress Committee (AICC) officials will also be present in the condolence meeting.” “

Gujarat Congress has written, on the occasion of the tragic demise of the great economist and former Prime Minister of the country, Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee has organized a program of “Prarthana Sabha”.

Manmohan Singh’s elder daughter burnt her father
Singh was cremated on Saturday at Nigam Bodh Ghat in Delhi. Many senior Congress leaders attended the funeral of former PM Manmohan Singh. Many leaders including President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rajnath reached Nigam Bodh Ghat and paid tribute to the mortal remains of the former PM. Former PM Manmohan Singh’s elder daughter lit the last rites of her father. With this, former PM Manmohan Singh merged into Panchatattva forever.
