Accident outside Kashi Vishwanath temple
A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Surat in Gujarat. An elderly woman was crushed by a young man riding a car outside the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Vesu area of Surat. After that he ran away from there. The woman died at the time of the accident. On the information of other people present there, Vesu police arrived and sent the body of the elderly woman for post-mortem. The police later arrested the accused car driver.
Gangaba, who lived behind the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Vesu, used to sit at the door of the temple. During this period, she lived on whatever alms she got. Even on Thursday (January 2), she was sitting at the gate of the temple. Then a car came and hit them. The collision of the car was so strong that even the gate of the temple broke. Gangaba suffered serious injuries in this accident and died on the spot.
Car driver absconded after the accident
The incident occurred at 9.54 am on Thursday morning. Gangaba was sitting at the door of the temple when a silver colored English car suddenly goes out of control and hits the door of the temple crushing Gangaba who was sitting at the door of the temple. After the accident, people present nearby immediately take Gangaba out. Meanwhile, the car driver dodges everyone and runs away. This entire incident was captured in CCTV camera.
The accused ran away home after the accident
After the accused driver absconded, the police was informed about the incident. As soon as the information was received, Vesu police reached the spot and sent Gangaba’s body to the government hospital for post-mortem. Police started searching for the accused. On gathering information about the owner of vehicle number Gj05 JS 2053, the police came to know that the name of the owner of the vehicle is Prakash Aggarwal. The police arrested the accused from his house. Police have registered a case under sections 281, 125, 125, 106 of BNS and have started action against accused Prakash Aggarwal.
