Business News Desk – There is good news for lakhs of farmers of Telangana. Telangana farmers will get Rs 12,000 per acre annually under ‘Rythu Bharosa Scheme’. The Telangana government has increased the cash benefit under this scheme by Rs 2,000. ‘Rythu Bharosa’ investment support scheme for farmers in the state will be launched from January 26. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced to give Rs 12,000 per acre annually to farmers. Apart from this, the Chief Minister said that under the newly launched Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme, families of landless agricultural laborers will also get the same amount annually.
What is ‘Rythu Bharosa’ scheme?
The ‘Rythu Bharosa’ initiative aims to assist farmers by providing direct cash benefit of Rs 12,000 per acre for agricultural land. Vantha Reddy had promised before the elections that his government would give an amount of Rs 15,000 per acre to farmers. But, now the CM has revised it to Rs 12,000. This is Rs 2,000 more than the assistance being given to farmers under the Rythu Bandhu scheme of the previous Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government.
What is Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Yojana?
Additionally, families of landless agricultural laborers will receive the same amount per year under the newly launched Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme. Under this scheme, landless agricultural families will get Rs 12,000 per year.
When will the scheme start?
All three schemes, Rythu Bharosa and Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa and the new ration card will be implemented from January 26, 2025. This initiative is being taken to commemorate 75 years of the adoption of the Constitution.
Who will get the benefit of the scheme
All farmers engaged in agriculture will come under the ambit of Rythu Bharosa. Investment subsidy will be given for every acre of cultivable land without any conditions.
Who will not be eligible?
Land unsuitable for agriculture such as mining, hills, real estate ventures, roads, land used for residential, industrial or commercial purposes, canal-converted land or land acquired by the government for various projects are not eligible for Rythu Bharosa. Will happen.
