Bihar News Desk Veerpur PHC has now been upgraded into a 30-bed community health centre. The foundation stone for the construction of the new building was laid by city MLA Kundan Kumar. He said that the 4 storey building of the hospital will be built at a cost of approximately Rs 8 crore.
With its construction, better health facilities will be available to the people of the block area. He said that development work is going on at a rapid pace in health, education, roads as well as in all other areas. Even during the assembly session, he raised dozens of problems of his area prominently and put pressure on the government for solutions.
He praised the work of Modi government at the Center and Nitish Kumar’s government in the state and said that the country and the state are creating a new dimension of development on every front. The hospital will be constructed by Bihar Medical Services and Infrastructure Corporation Limited, Patna under the leadership of consultant Sanjeev Kumar. This will cost a total of Rs 7 crore 69 lakh. Dowry murder accused arrested
Police arrested an accused in the dowry murder case last night. Giving information, Police Station Head Ramkumar Singh said that Rajaram Yadav, son of Biso Yadav, resident of Masurchak of the police station area, has been arrested.
He told that case number 224/24 dowry murder case was registered against the arrested accused. The police station head said that a case was registered by Santosh Kumar, a resident of Mathar Diara under Begusarai district, accusing him of murdering his sister due to dowry. In this case, the said accused was absconding and has been arrested in the night and sent to judicial custody.
