Jan Suraj Party leader Prashant Kishore, who was on a fast unto death in Patna over the 70th examination controversy of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), was arrested on Monday morning. After this, he was taken to the primary health center of Fatuha for medical examination.
During this time, the vanity van of Prashant Kishor has also been confiscated, regarding which he was being targeted for the last several days.
It was told that after arresting the founder of Jan Suraj, the police first took him to Patna AIIMS. However, later the police took them away from here. It is said that supporters of Prashant Kishor had gathered here and the police had to use mild force to remove them. After this, the police vehicle took Prashant Kishore to Fatuha Primary Health Center, where he was medically examined.
Here, the police has also seized the vanity van parked at the place of death of Prashant Kishore. It has been seized and brought to the District Transport Office for investigation.
The administration’s statement on the arrest of Prashant Kishore has also come out. “Despite repeated requests by the authorities concerned, he did not move from there,” the District Magistrate said. The district administration had also issued a notice to him to shift the dharna to Gardanibagh area of the state capital, which has been set up for protests. There is a designated place.”
The district administration has said that Prashant Kishore is absolutely fine.
It is noteworthy that Prashant Kishor was sitting on a fast unto death near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Gandhi Maidan since October 2 with five-point demands including cancellation of the 70th preliminary examination of BPSC. Due to it being a restricted area, the administration had declared this protest and fast unto death as illegal.
